In a letter read on the floor of the Nigerian Senate earlier today, Pastor Yemi Osibanjo will assume the position of the President for 10 days while President Buhari goes on medical leave in the UK.
President Muhammadu Buhari, made the announcement in the letter informing the National Assembly of his desire to proceed on a 10-day leave starting from Monday, January 23rd, 2017.]
This development is coming at a point where the President’s health condition gets worse by the day and has been advised by his doctors to seek help. Inside reports from the Presidential villa can confirm that Nigerian doctors have tried to heal the President, but his state can only be handled by his medical doctors in the UK.
It would be recalled that the President has made consequent visits to the UK in the guise of being on leave but it can be confirmed authoritatively that it was for medical help. Pastor Yemi Osibanjo’s first mandate will be to settle the Southern Kaduna crisis. More is expected to be done while the President is on leave.
The health state of President Buhari leaves many to worry.
More details would be communicated as soon as we get it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
