Integration Summit Group of Nigeria Holds Unity Summit in Port Harcourt

As part of efforts to unite the country, the Integration Summit Group of Nigeria (ISG-N), a pan-Nigerian group at the vanguard of promoting National unity and good neighborliness amongst Nigerians without boundaries has finished plans to host its National Unity Summit in Port Harcourt later this month.

 Delegates from across the country and beyond are already gearing up to arrive the garden city of Port Harcout on the 12th of November, 2016 for the National Integration Roundtable. The unity of this nation and tolerance among all groups will once more take the center stage just like the previous events.

The theme of this year’s summit, Broad Nationalism, A tool for National Integration is apt and fundamental; more so at this time when the nation is passing through difficult times with citizens at a crossroad as to our corporate existence.

The summit has as keynote address speakers, His Excellencies, Governors Ifeanyi Okowa and Aminu Tambuwal of Delta and Sokoto states respectively while the guest speaker is Prof Femi Shaka of the University of Portharcourt.

According to the organizers, National integration is the drawing together of all divides, be it political or social into something more cohesive with the parts linked more closely together. It involves the unification of people of different social, religious and ethnic backgrounds in various walks of life and mostly prevails in those societies where tension and conflicts do not triumph. This summit is designed to chart a holistic roadmap to Nigeria’s greatness.
The organizers also say that “No nation thrives in acrimony and rancor. We are one Nation, one destiny and together, we will make Nigeria great”.
The roundtable discuss is billed to hold at the Autograph, 30/33 Sanni Abacha Road, GRA phase 3, 11am prompt.
